Last week on the very hottest day of the year, the fantastic folks at Riversdale House Museum asked us to play for a little spot with Britt Waters from WJLA channel 7, DC’s ABC affiliate, to promote our upcoming show for their Jazz on the Lawn concert series. The Riversdale Jazz on the Lawn show will be August 23 from 7-8 PM at 4811 Riverdale Rd in Riverdale Park, MD - A huge green grassy field surrounded by shady trees, with the historic Riversdale House Museum behind the band. This is a great chance to gather outdoors before one more summer slips away. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and your favorite picnic dinner, and come a little early to soak in the great community atmosphere. We'll have Mike on drums, and the great Lex O'brien on vibraphone for a full Band Brulee family reunion! And if it rains, come anyway because they'll just move the show to an alternate indoor space.
